Yes, you certainly can. You will need an RS-232- or USB-to-HART converter to connect to the HART loop from the PC (see www.romilly.co.uk/hmodems.htm ) and a software application (see www.romilly.co.uk/software.htm ). If your need is very simple, one of the free demo software versions might be sufficient.Make sure the HART device is powered and connected properly in a loop with a load resistor.
