Hart Bus and Valve Controller question

Hart bus provide any common-practice fuction for use in a valve controller application (the valve controller is my hart slave) ? If I want to use function 62 (Read analogue outputs) or 33 (Read transmitter variables) for reading some variable in my valve controller, what kind of function can I use to write a transmitter variable or an analogue ouputs ? For example I want to read and write a float variable named auxiliary set, if I want to read this variable can I implement in my slave function 62 or 33, but if I want to write a value in this variable what kind of function can I use ? Thnak you for your attention and I waiting for an answer to my question.
