The newer 275 or 375 or somewhat replacements. If you have older equipment such as Micro-Motion 9712 transmitters with EEPROM's versions older than 5.0 it will not communicate. You can no longer get upgrade chips. You can still find 268's on Ebay at a reasonable price or there is a company out there that will sell you a used one for $2,200. This is a tactic used by big businesses to force you to upgrade.
