yes, it is backward compatible.

HART 6 Master can communicate to HART5 slaves with out any problems.
But the point is what is a perfect HART 6 Master?.
Just by provinding few hart 6 capabilities any host can't be a HART6 Master,As of now I know SDC625 2.0 is a perfect HART6 host.
HHC 375 is clamed to be HART6 host. Does it support DRM?.can anyone throw few points on this?.
Any other tools which is a perfect HART6 host.
