I have always supposed that if you ask persistently, the device manufacturer would give you the DD. After all, they should want you to use their device.The way to get a full set of HART DDs is to subscribe to the HCF DD Library. That gets you all DDs which have been registered (which is not quite all existing HART devices, since not all have DDs written, and a few which have, are deliberately kept out of the library by their manufacturers.
