I think I was not clear enough. Actually I am implementing HART transmitter. The problem is HART spec does not specify the initial phase when request to send is active. Moreover it also does not specify the sine or cosine function to be used.

I am assuming zero phase and sine of phase to generate hart signal. Is that the right way to go ahead?

Other option might be to start with 180 deg phase and use sine of phase as these two options does not produce a jump in HART signal.
