Interoperability is nothing but Capability to use Instruments/Devices of End user choice, on the DCS,without loss of Functionality.There are two types of interoperability
1) Operational interoperability - Seeing that all the device from vendors works fine with the DCS the end user is using - This is excellent as of interoperability is concerned today.2) maintenance interoperability - Many of the device vendors comes on with their snap-on in which interoperability is not in a good shape.
