Hello,I've a question regarding the Device Malfunction Bit and the Analog Output.
In the document LIT-05 Rev. 1.0 (Dec/1993) is a description to put all affected Analog Outputs to their alarm states if Bit#7 is set. But in newer documents containing descriptions of the Device Malfunction Bit I cannot find any similar statement. I’ve found the other way round documented. If the Analog Output is in alarm state the Bit#7 should be set.
Is there any description of the required behaviour in HART 7 documents?Thanks in advance,
