Dear Meghdut,We (Hawke) have sold a lot of filedbus intrinsically safe equipment to kvaerner for BMS (Port Solent), Statoil and GSK.
The Hawke product is a gas group IIB power supply for FF (or PROFIBUS) devices. It can handle 320mA for a single segment I/O using two trunks at 600m each or ~ 240mA for one trunk for a cable length of up to 200 m
This equates to 16 x 20 mA devices or 32 x 10 mA devices using two trunks and one segment I/O, or 12 x 20 mA devices using only one trunk and one segment I/O.
