HART after 2002 & DDL

Greetings,

I have 2 questions:

- Is it still worthwhile to develope new HART products as it seems that Rosemount is working on a new protocol?

- Where to download how a DDL is composed? A lot of info can be found on hart.org but not the information needed for writing a DD for a new device.
