It turns out that the downloads are now disabled in the HARTcom.org for non-members: the open protocol is not open anymore.Personally I'm disappointed that detailed information needed for engineers is hidden. This is very discouraging for potential manufacturers and will prevent a HART boost... It maybe better to look at other protocols: PROFIBUS seems to gain common acceptance.
